Builder Gel: What is It?
Builder gel is used to create length in the nail, as well as make the nail thicker and stronger thickness or add strength to the nail. It is usually applied to natural nails as an overlay to encourage growth in the natural nail. However, some clients use it on their usual nail extensions.
The builder gel formula is stronger and thicker than ordinary gel. It fills in chips and breaks in the nail surface, evening out the nail. Builder gel can help grow healthy new nails and nourish them with extra vitamins.
Builder gel comes in various colours. However, many people prefer the clear, nude and light pink shades.
Builder gels usually last 2-3 weeks before clients will book in again. However, this depends on the quality of the brand and the skill of the technician. Of course, it will also last longer on healthy nails.
